The first crew to land on the moon was the Apollo 11 crew, which consisted of three men:

- Michael Collins: Command module pilot
The Apollo 11 lunar module, Eagle, landed on the moon on July 20, 1969, and Neil Armstrong and Buzz Aldrin became the first people to walk on the moon. The lunar module remained on the moon for over 21 hours.
